Original Installation
The dry end of this station is mounted on a pole that was driven into the mud on the bank of the creek. A deck was built around the pole to facilitate access for maintenance. For both creek stations, the wet-end instruments are mounted on the under-side of a plate that sits in the top of a protective flow-through box. The weighted box sits in the creek bed. The current meter is mounted separately upstream from the box.
Chorro Creek Station (CM2)
Retired 2009 May 21
The dry end of this station is mounted on a pole that was driven into the mud on the bank of the creek. Wet-end instruments are deployed as described above.
